Messiah is a church that lives out Matthew 25. Therefore, we are committed to seeing Jesus in all who need care, love, and resources, and to reaching out to those in need by offering support and services to the community. 

Community Outreach

Messiah offers assistance to those in need in our community. If you are in need of financial assistance please contact the church office at 906.225.1119. Click here for more infomation about the fund. 

Messiah also collects these items. Bins for donations are located in the narthex.

  • Non-perishable foods - for those in need (usually given to the Salvation Army)
  • Eyeglasses for Lions Club
  • Econo Foods receipts for Habitat for Humanity 
Global Mission Outreach

We are blessed to be in partnership with two companion congregations: one in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and one in Caracoli, Bogotá, Colombia. We pray for each other, share in ministry, and every few years we exchange visits.
